COVID Safer-At-Home Group Classes

The State of Colorado has finally given the green light for gyms like ours to start offering group classes.    Here are the details on what you’ll need to know.

Updated Schedule:

We are reducing our class schedule initially.   Each scheduled class will also include an Online option for anyone that isn’t ready for larger groups or simply enjoys the format.  The updated schedule has been published to Zen Planner and is available through our website or the Zen Planner Member app.  Reservation cut-off will be 3 hours prior to the scheduled class time.

For In-Person classes reservations will be REQUIRED for anyone wishing to participate and we need 3 or more people reserved (we’ll take a week before we start cancelling classes that fall under this number).  Also anyone arriving more than 8 minutes late to class will not be allowed to participate in the In-person classes.

Safety Precautions

As with the personal training sessions, all athletes will be required to wear a face mask in common areas of the gym.   Please arrive wearing a cloth face covering.  Upon arrival each athlete will go through a temperature and symptom check with a staff member.   Anyone with COVID symptoms including a temperature of 100.4 or higher will be asked to leave and receive medical clearance before returning.

After check-in, each athlete will be assigned a station that has been supplied workout equipment by a member of our staff.   The warm-up, workout and cool down will be performed with athletes remaining in their assigned station.   Movements like running and pull-ups will be exceptions to this rule with other precautions in place to protect athletes on an as needed basis.

After each session, athletes will be ask to spray and wipe down all equipment that they used.  A mask should then be worn when athletes after class.

Additional Limitations

For the near term we ask that athletes plan on attending the same class times throughout the week listed on the schedule.   This will help with class preparation and contact tracing should any of our athletes or staff become infected with COVID and reduce the risk of infecting a larger number of athletes.   The only exception for this should be the Saturday class where we will attempt to take further precautions.  There will be NO LIMITATIONS on attending the Online version of classes.
