If you are new to the gym, you have probably heard us talk about Friday Night Lights starting this Friday. You may be wondering what it is.
CrossFit hosts the CrossFit Open each year, here is a video that explains what it’s all about.

We take the workouts of the Open and we host them at the gym on Friday nights for 3 weeks. The first heat will begin shortly after warm-up at 4:30 pm. We will have rolling heats throughout the evening until each person gets to complete their turn at the workout.
The heat sizes and times will vary depending on equipment needs, length of workout, and the number of individuals that need a judge.
Not everyone has to be signed up for the open in order to enjoy Friday Night Lights, it is open to anyone in our gym and the workouts are scaled to what meets your needs that day.
We appreciate the Open and Friday Night Lights for several reasons. It can be a fun way to test the work you have been putting in. It is a great way to support your friends in the gym and receive support, it helps you realize you are capable of more than you think you are at times.
Please don’t be shy to try out the CrossFit Open this coming Friday, Feb 17th with us. If you would like to register for the Open, but are unsure what to do, grab a coach in the gym or go to www.games.crossfit.com.
